What do I need from my Power Heads and Service Pedestals?

My name is Phill and I’m the manager of Comsen Pty Ltd. We are an Australian owned and based company and we manufacture high quality power heads and service pedestals.

This time around, I’d like to chat about the subject of “What do I need from my Power Heads and Service Pedestals?”

OK, so of course, only you, the end user can answer this, but when looking at all the options (such as those found on our website – https://comsen.com.au/ ) it can be a little confusing. A little help is always appreciated!

First, where will they be installed? A caravan park/camping ground will have different requirements to a marina/jetty – different legal requirements also – which is why we have separate models suited to each environment.

What utility services do you need them to provide? The obvious one is electrical power, but our power heads and service pedestals can also provide other services such as 3 phase power, metering, lighting, water, data etc.

How many caravan sites, or marina berths, will each power head or service pedestal be supplying? We can fit multiple power outlets and water taps to our units, so the opportunity to rationalise and use each one for multiple sites in in one area.

Budget, of course, is always an important factor. Here at Comsen, we are always looking at ways to keep our prices reasonable but keep that high level of quality that we are known for and pride ourselves in. It’s a bit of a balancing act!
